IICA participates in Inception Workshop for Developing and Enhancing small-scale agri-processing capacity in Belize.

On January 30th, 2018 the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture participated in an inception workshop organized by the Ministry of Agriculture in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations (UN) on a project to develop and enhance the capacity of small agri-processing in Belize.   The objective of the workshop was to discuss the current status of agri-processing and details of the project.  Stakeholders from different organizations convened to the workshop and discussed the expectations of developing a roadmap for the agri-processing sector of the country.
