San Jose, 23 April 2020 (IICA). Prestigious singer and composer, Victor Heredia, who has long graced stages in his native Argentina and throughout the Americas, has lent his voice to IICA’s campaign to recognize workers throughout the agrifood chain.

This campaign, which continues to reap the support of recognized artistes from all regions of the Americas, was launched to pay tribute to and recognize those individuals whose work ensures that their countrymen have food on their tables during this era of Covid-19.

In addition to renowned artistes, organizations and government entities have also thrown their support behind this effort, such as the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of Argentina. Conceived by IICA to recognize and thank farmers and workers in the agrifood chain, the campaign is pulling together the work of renowned artistes, who have selflessly joined this initiative, entitled, POPULAR MUSIC TRIBUTE TO THOSE WHO WORK EVERY DAY TO ENSURE THAT WE HAVE FOOD ON OUR TABLES.
