Partners since December 2020, the Center for Carbon Management and Sequestration (C-MASC) and IICA coordinate efforts to fight soil degradation, a phenomenon that undermines the ability of the countries to meet the food demand sustainably.
Together they promote the Living Soils of the Americas initiative to implement better management and technical cooperation techniques in the region to restore soils. The project combines actions by governments, international organizations, universities, the private sector and civil society organizations.
