An agricultural engineer, Carlos Pomareda holds a Doctoral degree in Agricultural Economics, and has extensive experience in economics, trade and management in the field of agriculture. He served as the Director of IICA’s Policy Program from 1987 to 1993. Since 1994, he has been the Manager of International Services for Business Development and the Corporate Manager of Corporación Ganadera Los Laureles. He has also served as a consultant for governments, companies, private sector organizations and international organizations.
