General Objective: To assist countries to improve their local, national, intraregional, and international market participation, and to deepen regional integration and agribusiness development, with the aim of promoting more competitive and sustainable market integration, and in so doing, reduce risks associated with dependence on a limited number of destination markets and exposure to external shocks (for example, access to fertilizers). This in turn will generate conditions for wealth creation and well-being.
