During the workshop, a participatory process will be used to identify and validate uncertainties that could affect food and agriculture systems in LAC through 2030, describe plausible scenarios, and consider actions that will need to be taken in the short- to medium-term to guard against potential threats, capitalize on emerging opportunities, and shape the trajectory of the region’s agriculture and food systems to enhance the prospects for socially desirable outcomes.
