The ministers expressed their support in a meeting of the Southern Agricultural Council (CAS, in Spanish). They also requested that IICA prepare a report on the sustainability of livestock production systems in the region and agreed to mobilize “all technical and diplomatic resources” to ensure that the voice of South America is heard at the UN Food Systems Summit.
