IICA attends presentation on composting, cover crops and plant nutrition

November 21, 2017, the European Union under the Banana Accompanying Measures (BAM) held a presentation on composting, cover crops and plant nutrition.  The facilitator was Mr. Dominique David, agronomist of the UE-BAM.  The presentation was for banana farmers, farm managers and members from the banana growers association and as a complement to the project “Productivity enhancement of banana farms through integrated soil fertility management in the banana belt area of Belize” that will be executed by the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture, Technical Specialist Mr. Willie Chan attended the presentation.
