The community nursery and reforestation
This is the first community nursery installed in Arreguy_Jacmel in 30 years.
Construction and distribution of more efficient wood burning stoves
The stoves were designed by a company specialized in environmental voluntary. They replace the use of open fire on three stones, reduce deforestation and improve health and quality of life of the users.
Agricultural activities designed to increase production and thereby improve food security
The beneficiaries have been able to sell the surpluses that are not used for direct household consumption.
The poultry farm
The production of the poultry farm was used to make breakfast for children at school and in the community health center.
Training of the population
They are part of Reforestation and Use of energy-saving stoves project in Arreguy - Jacmel. The courses will be theoretical and practical.
