With the support of IICA, official laboratory technicians of veterinary services in 12 countries of the Americas are receiving training in the diagnosis of antimicrobial resistance

With technical guidance from The Ohio State University, and under IICA’s coordination, a virtual course on Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) standards was delivered with the aim of improving the monitoring of diseases that can affect food production in the region.

IICA and Bioversity-CIAT Alliance further training in precision biotechnology

Geared towards teachers, the course focused on sharing knowledge on and providing training in CRISPR-Cas gene editing techniques. This will allow for expanding the number of institutions that could eventually contribute biotechnology solutions to address various agricultural issues.

Technological University of Pereira, UNESCO Chairs and IICA will deliver an International Diploma Course on Applied Bioeconomy in the Coffee Value Chain

IICA will award three tuition scholarships for the Digital Agri Master’s program at the University of Cordoba in Spain

Interested candidates should first request admission to the program on the website of the Regional Government of Anadalusia (Spain) and then send an email to digitalagri@uco.es, from 6 to 10 July 2023, indicating their interest in and availability to pursue the specialization program, which will be delivered in face-to-face mode.
