On March 24, 2017 Dr. Gabriel Rodriguez Marques a citizen of Uruguay assumed the position as our country Representative. Dr. Rodríguez Marqués is no stranger to this Delegation since he was country representative during the period 2009 to 2010. Dr. Rodriguez Marques was transferred to IICA Panama then to the IICA El Salvador.

The Delegation of the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture in Guyana in collaboration with the New Guyana Marketing Corporation and Propel facilitated a one-day Cost of Production workshop in the Village of St. Ignatius Region 9.
