    The initiative is part of the Vision for Adapted Crops and Soils (VACS) project, which brings together the public and private sectors in an effort to build a resilient food system grounded in diverse, nutritious, and climate adapted crops grown in healthy, fertile soils.

    At the 17th Special Meeting of the CAS held in Paris, the Council underscored the value of, and need for, the Institute’s technical cooperation to address a wide range of sector issues that transcend national borders and call for a regional approach.
  • Argentine Leaders of Rurality recognized by IICA agree on a joint work plan to strengthen cooperatives and family farming with the Secretary of Bioeconomy

    This was agreed upon during a meeting with the Secretary of Bioeconomy, Fernando Vilella, who expressed interest in the role that Leaders of Rurality can play as positive examples in their territories to strengthen rural ties and the sustainability of production and he committed to developing a joint agenda.
