As part of the actions carried out within the Ecological Blue Flag Program, the talk «Fossil fuel reduction and rational use talk»
Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, July 2019 (IICA). In order to take actions for the benefit of the environment and expand the philosophy of cleanliness, hygiene, water savings, electricity, fossil fuels and paper, as well as promoting environmental education that contributes to the mitigation of greenhouse gases and the effects of climate change, the Dominican Representation of the Interamerican Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), has enrolled in the Blue Flag Ecological Program (PBAE) for the period 2019, in the XIV Category «Diplomatic Echo», and to its effect It has formed a Pro-Blue Ecological Flag committee.
As part of the actions carried out within the Ecological Blue Flag Program, the talk «Fossil fuel reduction and rational use talk» was held on July 25 with the participation of all representation officials. Technician’s personnel of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs (MICM) gave the talk, which is the state body responsible for the control and supply of the market for petroleum products and other fuels nationwide.
This activity is part of the actions planned during the year to strengthen capacities and seek solutions that contribute to the efforts, contribute to compliance and institutional commitment to the environment and be a positive reference in the use and management of resources and solid waste.
