Durante dos días en distintas localidades se participó en Taller de Consulta con actores de la cadena de frutas de Panamá, actividad desarrollada con participación de expertos del Ministerio de Desarrollo Agropecuario (MIDA), del Fondo de las Naciones Unidas para la Agricultura y la Alimentación (FAO), de las instituciones del sector y fruticultores.
Durante el desarrollo de los talleres se presentó diagnóstico de la fruticultura de la provincia Chiriquí y de la Región de Azuero, donde fueron organizadas mesas de trabajo por tipo de frutas identificando oportunidades por áreas.
