AAPRESID, a global leader in science and innovation and a strategic partner of IICA, invites farmers to learn about Argentine agriculture

AAPRESID promotes a model that makes it possible to produce more food, fiber and energy while at the same time regenerating soils and the environment.

Buenos Aires, 3 December 2025 (IICA). Farmers, policymakers, academics and students have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with Argentine agriculture in depth by visiting the South American country and linking up with an association that is an international leader in science, innovation and networking.

The Argentine No-Till Farmers Association (AAPRESID), a strategic partner of IICA, is organizing its next Agronomic Technical Tour, slated forMarch 2026, which will explore how innovation and soil care are practicedin establishments with the latest technologies and generate contacts with farmers in a country that is one of the world’s most important food producers.

AAPRESID promotes a model that makes it possible to produce more food, fiber and energy while at the same time regenerating soils and the environment.

AAPRESID’s membersuse the no-till farming system, complemented with ecological and technological management practices that offer numerous productive and environmental benefits. These include carbon sequestration in the soil, reduced use of chemical fertilizers and herbicides, more efficient water use and lower fuel consumption.

The technical tour will take place from 8-14 March 2026 and coincide with Expoagro, the largest open-air agro-industrial exhibitionin the region, held in San Nicolás, in the heart of the Argentine Humid Pampas and a few kilometers from the country’s main urban centers.

Participants in the tour will have the opportunity  to learn about cutting-edge production systems that are recognized for their focus on sustainability, innovation and soil conservation; take part in visits and technical exchanges with local farmers and specialists; establish contacts with key companies and institutions in Argentina’s agro-industrial ecosystem; and learn about the latest trends in agricultural machinery, supplies and services.
