Rural Youth Innovation Award 2021

The Award is an initiative of the United Nations International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and co-financed by the China-IFAD South-South and Triangular Cooperation Facility. Learn more about IFAD, its projects and focus on youth and the importance of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) in the following links:

The Award`s participating initiatives must be good practices and technologies already implemented. They must be effective in resolving issues related to the rural area, especially of small local farmers.

In addition, they must be related with at least one of the categories below:

Climate Action

Communications & technology

Conservation

Education

Financial inclusion

Food security

Income generation

Sustainability

The Prize have a Featured Category that will award one of the already participating initiatives within the Technical Categories:

Promotion and inclusion of vulnerable groups
