En la ocasión también se hizo un repaso de los logros del primer año del programa “Suelos Vivos de las Américas”, lanzado en diciembre de 2020 por el IICA junto al Centro de Manejo y Secuestro de Carbono (C-MASC) de la Universidad Estatal de Ohio, que dirige el laureado científico Rattan Lal.
