    A course carried out in Costa Rica will equip 56 delegates from eight Latin American countries to provide training on this regulation to producers, academics and officers involved in the production and commercialization of fresh fruits and vegetables for the U.S. market.

  • IICA and the FDA to train professionals from 13 countries in the hemisphere on the standard for exporting fresh agricultural produce to the United States

    Starting today, the professionals are receiving training at a regional workshop in Costa Rica, sharing expertise and information with exporters, producers and academics. The event was declared open by the United States Ambassador to Costa Rica, Sharon Day, and IICA’s Deputy Director General, Lloyd Day.

  • 106 new professionals will be able to assist their countries in complying with requirements for exporting processed food to the U.S.

    The initiative, executed by IICA, USDA-FAS and USAID, seeks to support capacity-building in strategic topics for the countries.
