Soledad Villamil joins the IICA campaign to recognize workers along the food chain

This call from IICA gives recognition and prominence to the work carried out by farmers and those who are involved in the food chain during these times of Covid-19.

San Jose, 21 April 2020 (IICA). – Actress and singer Soledad Villamil, one of the protagonists of the Juan José Campanella film El secreto de sus ojos which won an Academy Award in Hollywood a decade ago as the best non-English language film, joined the IICA campaign to recognize workers throughout the entire food chain.

The campaign has been has been attracting the participation of recognized artists from all regions of the Americas, and was launched to recognize and pay tribute to the work of those who ensure that food gets to the tables of the population during these times of Covid-19.

Launched this week by IICA to recognize and thank farmers and those who work in the food chain, the call is bringing together the work of renowned artists who have given freely of their time to the POPULAR MUSICAL TRIBUTE TO THOSE WHO WORK DAY TO DAY TO PUT FOOD ON OUR TABLES.
