Objective
To disseminate the results of the study carried out by the Agricultural Science and Technology Indicators (ASTI) program, which is led by the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI). The study describes investments made by LAC countries in agricultural research, institutional capacities, and how this influences the dynamics of the agricultural sector in each country studied.
