IICA Delegation in the Dominican Republic donates Videoconference equipment to ISA

As part of the commitments made by IICA and the ISA University in the agreement to implement in the country the “Virtual Regional School Food Inspection for Central America and the Dominican Republic” (ERVIA), IICA donated a complete videoconference equipment that will serve to strengthen its technological capacity to train professionals in the area of ​​food inspection.

ERVIA seeks to improve the food safety system to contribute to the public health and facilitate trade through modern and harmonized procedures for inspection. The ERVIA Project supports these inspectors to have the best and updated tools to assess the inspection processes in fresh and processed food with a regional and standardized knowledge.

Bayer and IICA launch ambitious and unprecedented program to provide 100 million small-scale producers in the Americas, Africa and India with training in regenerative agriculture

One hundred million small-scale farmers in the Americas, Africa and India will receive training in the fundamental principles of regenerative agriculture, through an extraordinary joint effort between Bayer and the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA).
