San José, 20 February 2026 (IICA). Endeavor Argentina and the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) have launched the second edition of AgTech Accelerator, a program for agricultural tech ventures designed to equip them with strategic, practical tools for their consolidation and sustainable growth.
Endeavor, the world’s largest community of high-impact entrepreneurs, operates in more than 40 countries (including Argentina, since 1998) and IICA is the specialized agency for agriculture and rural development in the Americas, with 34 member countries in the hemisphere.
The deadline for applications is 8 March 2026, with the program, which is offered exclusively in Spanish, officially set to begin on 19 March. It is completely free for the AgTech companiesselected, with 20 places available for startups from across the region.
The Web address for online applications is: https://www.endeavor.org.ar/programas/agtech-accelerator/.
Endeavor and IICA will select the startups with the greatest potential in terms of impact and commitment, placing special emphasis on the geographical diversity of the Americas.
In 2025, the first edition of AgTech Accelerator brought together 20 AgTech startups from 12 countries in the region, which participated in an intensive acceleration program with mentorship from Endeavor’s global leaders and key members of IICA’s AgTech Network. The entrepreneurs highlighted the practical nature of the content, the opportunity to establish lasting connections and the specific tools available for scaling up their businesses.
The following are some of the development opportunities offered by AgTech Accelerator:
- Intensive training with world-class mentors and practical tools for structuring sustainable growth plans.
- Group sessions, individual mentoring and roundtables with experts and other founders.
- Permanent membership of the IICA Network and access to first-hand information on the application process for participation in Digital Agriculture Week 2026.
The program is targeted at creators of AgTech startups that incorporate innovation into their proposals, have a validated business model and verifiable traction, and are forecast to achieve local and regional growth.
It includes six virtual sessions focused on critical challenges for entrepreneurs, from business model design to the use of disruptive technologies. Participants will also have the opportunity to validate their strategies and learn from best practices shared by agrifood sector specialists.
Nicolás Castellón, founder and CEO of Miido, a Chilean AgTech company that took part in the first edition of AgTech Accelerator, said the initiative is “one of the best programs in which I’ve been involved, and is designed specifically to dovetail with the needs of our AgTech startups at different stages. I’m extremely pleased with the final result and with all the knowledge we acquired in such a short time”.
