  • IICA honors the memory and highlights the legacy of Alysson Paolinelli, former minister and mastermind of Brazil’s dynamic agriculture sector

    At IICA Headquarters in San Jose and at its Delegation in Brazil, the flags of the Institute and Brazil will be flown at half mast, in memory of Paolinelli and as a way to mark his legacy as a visionary who is considered to be the father of the world’s most efficient tropical agriculture model.

  • IICA will award three tuition scholarships for the Digital Agri Master’s program at the University of Cordoba in Spain

    Interested candidates should first request admission to the program on the website of the Regional Government of Anadalusia (Spain) and then send an email to digitalagri@uco.es, from 6 to 10 July 2023, indicating their interest in and availability to pursue the specialization program, which will be delivered in face-to-face mode.

    Approximately 150 representatives from the private sector, academia and international organizations, such as the National Autonomous University of Mexico, the FAO and the country’s National Service of Agrifood Health, Safety and Quality (SENASICA), among others, participated in the event.
