    The IICA Director General’s visit to the university facilities is part of an official mission to strengthen the Institute’s links with its Spanish counterparts in the areas of innovation and international cooperation focused on Latin America and the Caribbean.
  • IICA will award three tuition scholarships for the Digital Agri Master’s program at the University of Cordoba in Spain

    Interested candidates should first request admission to the program on the website of the Regional Government of Anadalusia (Spain) and then send an email to digitalagri@uco.es, from 6 to 10 July 2023, indicating their interest in and availability to pursue the specialization program, which will be delivered in face-to-face mode.

    During a visit to the Spanish capital, Otero also met with the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) of Spain, Luis Planas, as part of a series of high-level bilateral meetings in which he reaffirmed the key role of Latin America and the Caribbean for global food security and its commitment to transforming agrifood systems to foster a more productive, sustainable and inclusive agriculture sector together with farmers.
