Based on the collaboration agreement framework between the FDA and IICA a series of webinars will be held in order to present key information from the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). The webinars are aimed at Latin American producers and experts in particular and are also open to the general public.

The main focus of the series is the Produce Safety Rule (PSR), where we’ll track the origins of the standard, revise each of its subsections, discuss regulatory requirements and cover risk mitigation. So as to further support producers and experts, also to be presented is supplementary content regarding; farm inspections, import processes and inspections, and relevant FDA websites where additional information can be found.

Note: The information covered in this webinar series is current as of the date of the webinar. Subsequent changes and updates may occur. We invite you to consult the official FDA website to confirm regulatory issues.
