In a ministerial meeting in Costa Rica, IICA launches the Hemispheric Fund for Agricultural Resilience and Sustainability in the Americas.
The Fund is aimed at improving the resilience of agri-food systems, supporting sustainable agricultural innovations, and optimizing the planning and execution processes of programs and projects, primarily in lower-income countries in the region.

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Colombia, Martha Carvajalino, attended the Executive Committee Meeting of the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) in Costa Rica on Tuesday. Eight agricultural ministers and six deputy ministers of the Americas attended the session, where the hemispheric organization announced that it would strengthen technical actions to benefit rural areas, producers and small farmers in the country.

Organized in Costa Rica by IICA and the Federation of Chambers of Agriculture and Agroindustry, the Meeting of Agricultural Federations of the Americas has concluded. It brought together more than 40 participants, the leaders of 20 federations from across the continent.
